Turkey
Turkey is a unique and beautiful country, it is located on the border of Europe and Asia.
The capital of the country is Ankara.
The total population of Turkey is more than 76 million people.
The official currency of the country is the Turkish lira.
Summers are hot and dry, winters are long and snowy.

Our trip
In 2021, my family and I decided to go to Turkey.
First we went to Moscow, then flew to Antalya.
There we went on excursions, ate Turkish food, went to the sea, sunbathed, rode on a big ship.
We learned interesting facts about the country, got acquainted with the sights.

Attraction
Kyzyl Kule Tower (Alanya)
This building is a symbol of Alanya and is even depicted on the flag of the city.
The tower was erected as part of the defensive system of Alanya in the first half of the 13th century and is still in excellent condition.
Today there is an ethnographic museum. You can go upstairs and admire, all you need to do is overcome 86 steps and get to the 5th floor.

2. Lover's Cave
The cave is a 75-meter tunnel that crosses the cape through and through, so you can walk from one entrance to another.
Previously, the pirates used it as a warehouse, when they left the place became popular with couples in love.

Traditional cuisine
In Turkey, they eat meat, vegetables, soup-puree. There is always bread, cheese, olives on the table.
Here they often cook a bagel with sesame seeds, pizza, berek.
The Turks love spicy, they put spices in soup, snacks, even in tea.
Turkish cuisine is rich in drinks. For example, warming drinks (salep), refreshing (sherbet), vitamin, extremely healthy (boza, shalgam).

Fruit grows everywhere here: bananas, pomegranates, tangerines, olives, lemons...
True, when we arrived, they were not yet mature. They will be ready in October.

In Turkey, people like to drink tea very much, even more than in the UK.
Turks are very fond of working and bargaining. Even when hiring, they will always negotiate a better salary.

Best moment
Most of all I liked the big pirate ship, on it we went all night to Alanya. They swam in the open sea and passed by the cave of lovers.
We were given a tour of the city and told a lot of interesting things. It was interesting for children and adults.

I really liked Turkey. There is delicious food, a lot of nuts, fruits. Beautiful nature. Here you can relax, spend time with your family, find yourself.
I believe that people need to travel, travel to other cities, fly to other countries. It's very interesting and exciting. Traveling is always relaxing and energizing.
